Beginner Bra Making Workshop

Have you ever wanted to make a bra that truly fits, feels comfortable, and looks beautiful? This beginner friendly two day workshop will teach you everything you need to know to create your own handmade bra from start to finish.

Over the course of two days, you'll learn the specialist techniques used in bra making while creating a personalised bra tailored to your unique shape. Whether you're completely new to lingerie sewing or looking to improve the fit of your handmade bras, this course will give you the skills and confidence to continue making your own bra at home.

One of the unique features of this workshop is that you will be professionally fitted for the correct underwire size. Choosing the right underwire is essential for achieving a supportive, comfortable, and well-fitting bra, yet it is often overlooked in many bra making courses.

Using the pattern and bra kit provided, you will construct a trial bra while learning about lingerie fabrics, elastics, findings, and construction techniques. During the workshop, I will personally assess the fit of your bra and discuss any pattern adjustments needed to achieve the best fit for your body shape. This individual fitting support is what makes the course truly unique.

All materials required to make your first bra are included in the course fee.

Simply bring your sewing machine and lunch, and I'll provide everything else you need.
